High school is almost over, graduation parties begin this weekend, and the yearbooks are being distributed along with caps and gowns for graduation. My final track meet is tomorrow, unless something amazing happens. Track this year was mediocre at best, performance wise on my part. I don’t know what happened but I wasn’t able to even improve off of last year’s times so far, an enormous disappointment.

I received several motherboards for Pentium 4 and Pentium 3 systems on Saturday, along with about a terabyte worth of storage space in hard drives and 2.5GiB of DDR memory, plus .5GiB of PC-133 memory for the P3 systems. An Intel ATX motherboard is now residing in one of my cases with a Pentium 4 Northwood core 2.0Ghz processor, Radeon 9600 OC’ed to 400/210, 16X DVD burner, 1.5GiB of DDR memory, a 180GB system hard drive, and a 200GB storage drive. I am very impressed with the Intel motherboard, it is very solid, performance wise, and in stability. Although it offers no possibilities of over clocking the P4, which is running surprisingly cool, the features it has outweigh its only setback. Eight USB 2.0 ports, 4 are on the back panel, the rest are via headers. It has two SATA ports, 5.1 channel sound, which surprisingly sounds better than the surround sound on my Sound Blaster Live card.
