Observe the small crack, that is not supposed to be there.
Well as this was the first time in years that I have messed around with chisels I’m not surprised this happened. I was being stupid and took too deep of a cut, which went below my break line. That’s how that happened. The burn mark is from a dremel cutting disk (doesn’t work well for making break lines).
