As you may or may not know, MySpace is owned by News Corporation. News Corporation is a media conglomerate that owns Fox and all of the Fox companies. Now take this any way that you want. It could be good if you are a conservative, if you are a liberal you are most likely shocked and angry, if you are libertarian you probably understand that this is a bad thing because the media has a tendency to promote their idea of a perfect America, and if you are part of Jesse Ventura and Co. then you most likely accept that it’s good since censorship is acceptable if it maintains order or equality. If you can’t tell by now MySpace is a breading ground for terrible web designs and stalkers, as one has warned in the past. Supposedly News Corporation has censored some words, links, etc. in private messages, and has modified some user’s pages. Causing chaos in some sections of the MySpace universe with users outraged and apparently rioting, since just like the French they are natural experts at it (That was a joke if you couldn’t tell.).

All I can say is it sucks to be a MySpace user. I could never use MySpace because of the fact that it’s too much of a high profile, we-spy-on-you type site, which one could be certain is crawled by undercover federal agents and the likes looking for the chilled predators that stalk the user pages of MySpace. Besides Weblogs.us lets me run WordPress and I have full access to FTP and most of the other underlying technologies which most MySpace users don’t care about.

No forced advertisements… another reason why Weblogs.us rocks.
