This is the first bug fix release of the 5.1 branch of Breadcrumb NavXT. 5.1.0 introduced a bug in the behavior of attachments, where the attachment and parent would have the same link. This has been fixed in 5.1.1. Additionally, the check for WP_Post
in bcn_breadcrumb_trail::do_post()
has been reduced from a fatal PHP error to a _doing_it_wrong()
call producing useful information for developers.
Additionally, two bugs that affect versions other than just 5.1.0 were fixed. Breadcrumb NavXT will no longer cause PHP to throw errors or warnings on author archive pages for authors with zero published posts. The author archive code was modernized and made much more robust than that in 5.1.0 and earlier. Lastly, the parameters for the included widget’s (pre) text filter were changed to match the default WordPress text widget’s text filter parameters.
As always, you can grab the latest version of Breadcrumb NavXT from the Breadcrumb NavXT page. If you experience any issues with this version of Breadcrumb NavXT, please leave a comment on this post detailing the issue.

[end of transmission, stay tuned]
Hello
I’d like to shorten the current Breadcrumb from :
Wordpress Hébergement > Location Vacances en Hérault, Languedoc > Contact
to
Location Vacances en Hérault, Languedoc > Contact
How could I do ?
Thxs in advance
Gérard
If you want to remove “WordPress Hebergement” from all of the breadcrumb trails, you will want to uncheck the setting “Place the home breadcrumb in the trail.” found under the General tab in the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page. Unless this is a Multi site setup, then “WordPress Hebergement” may be from the Mainsite breadcrumb, and you’ll want to disable that instead.

By the way, on a SEO point of view, is “Location Vacances en Hérault, Languedoc > Contact” ok?
Would’nt it be better to replace the site title by it’s url ? if so how could I do it ?
Again, many thxs in advance
Gérard
i just install breadcrumb navXT on multisite & i extend to create some custom field integrate into this plugin. So my custom fields not save? why? i try in single site and work properly.
I’m not sure what you did for custom field integration, or how you extended Breadcrumb NavXT. But, if you are doing things to modify the Breadcrumb NavXT settings, the issue may be due to how settings are handled in a multisite setup.
