Thud, thud, thud, I wake up to the sound of my brother banging on my bed room door. “Are we going to Best Buy or not.” “What time is it?” “It’s 7:00.” “No, not yet, let me sleep.” Even if Best Buy was opening at 5:00am, it wasn’t worth getting up and getting there at that hour. When we did get there, a bunch of idiots (anyone who believe they know ‘way’ more about technology than I) were leaving and trying to get into the parking lot, which was packed. Well that’s not the full truth; the EP Best Buy has underground and side parking which had many open spots available. Inside everything we were looking for was still in stock, including a Christmas gift for my dad. We picked up Age of Empires 3 and Battlefield 2142 as well since they were on sale for half off.
When we arrived home, my brother takes both games to his computer as if they were his. Even though I explicitly said I’m getting Battlefield 2142, and he said he wanted Age of Empires 3. Naturally he installs Battlefield on first and logins on using his EA account, instantly tying my CD key with his account. So now I’m either stuck with AEO3 or have to go back and buy another CD as EA really doesn’t care if my own family steals my CD key. So what was going to be a good day turned instantly sour by the selfish actions of my younger sibling.
